This 90-minute live training provides a comprehensive, clinically relevant overview of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for mental health professionals. While ADHD is often understood through attention and executive functioning, many clients present with more complex patterns, including overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, shutdown, and inconsistent functioning. Participants will learn how to identify ADHD across the lifespan, differentiate it from commonly overlapping conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, and better understand how these patterns present in real-world clinical settings. This training also introduces a nervous system-informed perspective to support deeper clinical understanding of emotional and behavioral regulation challenges. Clinicians will leave with practical strategies that can be applied immediately in session.
